Alien Abduction

First of all, let's begin with a preface: You don't have to believe in something in order for it to exist or for it to have happened or for it to be the 'truth'. If you lash out at someone and call them crazy because they believe something you don't, maybe you should examine your motivations for doing so. Maybe you yourself are harboring some beliefs that are questionable and some would call 'crazy'. If you believe in alien abduction, werewolves, zombies, the flying spaghetti monster, God, Jesus, vampires, or ghosts, this doesn't mean you need a head examination. You are not crazy. You just believe things that other people think are stupid or aren't worth any time thinking about, but it's funny when they criticize these things by taking the time to criticize them, isn't it? Isn't that energy wasted? Essentially I'm starting this blog to talk about weird things that have happened to me and, hopefully, to hear from the void of the internet about what has happened to them, that is, what has happened to you. If you want to criticize, go ahead, I can't stop you, but just remember, you're taking a significant portion out of your day to tell someone else they are wrong; ask yourself, how many people told you that you were wrong today?

Now, the 'story'.

Ever since I was little I've always stared at the stars, I know it sounds cliche, but I've done it, and I've thought about how many galaxies are out there. If you consult the late Dr. Carl Sagan he would tell you (if he were still alive) that the sheer volume of stars in the heavens, each with the possibility of having a system of planets revolving around them; it is possible that even if a fraction of these had planets in the 'green zone' around their star, capable of supporting life, their MUST be planets capable of supporting life. I've been interested in astronomy since as long as I can remember and because of the knowledge this has brought me, I KNOW there is life on other planets. I know it for 'fact'. There has to be and anyone who would tell you otherwise is addicted to his own ego, it is the star s/he revolves around.

As a kid, I use to be afraid of the dark, a lot. I still am, to a certain degree, but I've come to recognize the relationship between my own mind and how it can manifest whatever I'm thinking about, or afraid of, into my room. As a kid I always had trouble sleeping and I would stare at my ceiling a lot as a result of it. At one point I started seeing what I can only describe as faint white on black gesture drawings of triangular spaceships flying over my house. I don't know if this was all in my mind or not, and I won't claim that I was seeing through the ceiling of my room and the attic above it and seeing real spaceships flying over my house with some kind of sixth sense or third eye, but what if I was? Both possibilities exist and both are just as possible.

Science fiction always drew my attention, as it does to this day, because I considered, as I still consider, it to be an amazing art form. The sheer possibilities that arise from contemplating the concept of infinite are fantastic! I've had dreams where I'm talking to aliens and spirits and animals for my whole life and regardless of what you believe about dreams, where we go and what not, I believe that the dream world is just as real, if not more so, as this reality.

When I reached my late teens and began thinking about why I was always so interested in science fiction I accessed a lot of repressed memories from my childhood, namely memories of a perpetual presence inside my room as a kid, which is why I was so afraid of the dark.

These days, whenever I think of aliens, for what ever reason it crosses the mind, especially in bed, in the dark, I can see them melt through the walls and I know they're there, they are always there, even in the day time, but I don't think this is some form of mental disease, because I can ignore them. They always want something from me, whatever it is, I haven't figured it out yet, I may never, but that's ok, they'll have there way with me whether I like it or not. I'm not afraid of them anymore because I was the one who brought them here. Thought must have a frequency and must move at a certain speed. When I think of them, they appear, so who's to blame for the fortunes they bring?
